Everyone's schedules get filled up and yet sometimes I just want to have a quick game to try out a character. Having a commitment of a weekly game, either as a GM or player just isn't realistic at this point in my life (wife, 4 boys, job...life); however, not being able to play because of my inability to commit to a weekly game stinks! Thus the idea of putting together a group of 10 to 20 people who are in a similar boat.

Encounters will be wrapped up in an evening (3-5 hours). Think of the encounters as a sort of "DUNGEON DELVES" where the GM is against the party (all most follow the rules). The players/party will need to work as a team to survie. It should be very fun.
The goal of the "one-off" encounters is to get up and running as fast as possible. The games will be heavy, 95%+ strategic/tactical battles, with very little role playing. Think of a big game of Risk with D&D and/or Chess. The GM's and group may be different each week, allowing for people to come in and out as time permits.
