Triggi hailed from the University in Magnimar with interested in alchemy, and the effect of blood work within alchemy. His bombs were potent, and were great in use of taking out goblins. During his research, he learned of a creature known as
the Sandpoint Devil, who terrorized the Sandpoint Hinterlands area.
"This beast who spat infernal flame and looked to be a mutated flying horse must have some sort of powerful blood running through his veins. I wonder what effect that would have in a bomb..."
He traveled to Sandpoint luckily at the time of the Swallowtail Festival, with numerous games and food. Caught up in the festivities, Triggi found himself at The Hagfish, and drunkenly took the Hagfish challenge: Drink a mug of the tank water from Norah's fishtank. The slimy, moss-ridden water was too much for Triggi, after he took a swig, he was out the door and puking it up the next minute.
Triggi aided much in the efforts against the Goblin Raid on Sandpoint, and managed to catch the attention of
Aldern Foxglove, a noble who was visiting Sandpoint. After joining on a boar hunt with Aldern, Triggi tricked Aldern into drinking some water that he was playing off as a mutagen. Aldern was majorly impressed with Triggi, and saying he would love to study under him one day.
Triggi aided with the situation at the Sandpoint Glassworks, subduing Tsuto and killing off his goblin threats. This is when Triggi obtained a flute. Excited, the alchemist immediately began playing this flute around the town. Sadly, however, Triggi could not play the flute at all, and anything coming out of the flute was a shrill, sharp sound that never sounded like anything close to what it should have been. Triggi was none-the-wiser.
As the Sandpoint Heroes found themselves traveling through
Thistletop Manor, Triggi played a key part in the capture and slaying of
Warchief Ripnugget, the recruitment of Orik, the capturing of Lyrie, and of course, handling the situation with
Nualia. He discovered a large room of rabbits, very likely to be goblin food, and vowed that after the situation in
Thistletop was over, he would save all of these rabbits from such a cruel fate.
Unfortunately, Triggi met him match in
Thistletop Fortress, in a secret area of the lowest level. In one of the rooms found behind a locked door only openable by a seven-pointed star key, the party encountered
Malfeshnekor, a greater barghest who was had been hiding down here for years. Triggi laid into him a few holy waters, and backed himself into a closet for cover.
Malfeshnekor used the closet to his advantage, trapping the ratfolk in the closet and tearing him to pieces. The group eventually brought the beast down, only to see the aftermath.
The party hauled Triggi's body back to sandpoint, but
Reiner made sure to save one of the rabbits from the fortress. He burned down the fortress as vengeance against losing perhaps one of his closest friends. They cremated his corpse and buried the ashes in Sandpoint. It is said you can still hear the shrill playing of his flute if the wind is just right...
