Molly Mayview
"Oh, I don't need sleep."
User: Rebecca
Campaign: Weird West
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Wierd Scientist
Description:
Molly is a young wierd scientist, testing her inventions and making a name for herself out in the wierd west. Hopefully she will come across a ghost rock on her journies. And with luck, her exploits will get noticed by Hellstromme Industries, and land her a job in a real lab, with real scientists.
Background:
Molly never sleeps. It drove her parents and her sisters crazy. She was up at night tinkering with anything that caught her fancy, making improvements that would often fall apart or send springs flying.
Molly's inspiration was her father, who worked for Union Blue Railways in Chicago. He was head forman on train maintenance. His office supplied her with tools and blueprints, and she learned quite a bit about engineering there.
The family could afford some basic education for their girls, and Molly was an avid reader, costing the household a pretty penny in lamp oil. But her doting father loved that she took such an interest in such things. (He always wanted at least one son...)
One day, Molly got her hands on a tiny piece of Ghost Rock, and set to making her very first invention: A hovering tool box for dear old Dad. It worked pretty well for the first week, but when it broke, there was a terrible explosion. Her father healed up okay, but Molly was instructed not to tinker any more.
Faced with boredom, Molly decided to head off west, where she could invent in wide open spaces. She took her journal, a bit of Ghost Rock, and promised to write.
