While many Eladrin may seem otherworldly to the more common races found in Punjar, and indeed the rest of Aereth, Sinaris seems a bit more at home amongst the people. His time in as a slave and gladiator, though, have left some emotional and physical scars. He's not the most handsome Eladrin by a long shot... and he can be gruff at times as he prefers a more direct approach to resolving his problems. That said, he's not stupid, and he understands well the lessons of both strategy and tactics.

Physically, he's darker skinned than most Eladrin, though still fair skinned by Human standards. He is often mistaken for an Elf. It doesn't bother him... he would rather just be accepted and not open gawked at (or worse yet mocked). Sinaris is of average height, with an athletic build.

His favorite foods are the spicy dishes of the south... which are sadly hard to come by in Punjar. He often carries a pouch of spices and peppers to add flavor to what passes for food on the streets of Punjar.
Sinaris, is a bit of a rarity. He's a former slave... and an Eladrin.

As a slave, he lived in the lap of luxury. His mistress and master were wealthy. He went to all the parties, he ate all the good food and he drank all the good wine.

The downside for Sinaris was that he was often the party favor. You can't be a slave going to all the parties without some penalty. Who would want to bed such an exotic creature? Well, apparently, a good deal many people... and his masters were often the instigators.

Sinaris liked his life as a slave. It was all he knew, and it was a good life (despite the drawbacks). Then one day it all came crashing down. His masters angered Lord Marko Hellmont... and they found themselves dead. All of the slaves, including Sinaris were sold.

Sinaris was sold into the gladiator pits. The sex slave didn't stand much of a chance in fair fight, but he quickly learned that a lot of surviving the arenas had more to do with avoiding your enemy than with actually fighting. He also realized that trading his body to other gladiators meant that he had protectors out in the arena.

He used everything he had to survive those early days in the arena. Eventually, he learned to fight in a style rarely seen in the arena. He didn't know it, but Sinaris had latent talents from being an Eladrin. He could teleport a short distance. Beyond that, he was developing into a Swordmage (another rarity in the arenas).

A few years later he won his freedom and vowed never to return to Djeser al-Maqqara unless it was to destroy it. In the years since, Sinaris made his way north, settling in an Eladrin community within the Gherdian Forest. He learned about his heritage and further developed his fighting skills amongst Swordmage masters.

With his history, however, Sinaris found it difficult to fit in with the Eladrin. He finally settled in Punjar 3 years ago. He has been a bounty hunter and a soldier, but he has mostly been a bodyguard. There is something that the rich find assuring about his exotic fighting style. It pays the bills, but it is not his true purpose and he knows it.
