This is a fantasy game set in the 1st edition of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. We are using the Dungeons & Dragons Rules Cyclopedia as the game system to power the campaign. We are using N5: Under Illefarn as the start of the campaign, which was a published TSR, Inc. module written for the 1st edition of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game.

The setting is based around the frontier town of Daggerford. Daggerford is built on a hill overlooking the Shining River west of the Unicorn Run. Daggerford has a population of about 300 residents, but has many hamlets in the surrounding area so a total of about 1,000 people rely on Daggerford's market. The player characters are start the game as members of the Daggerford militia.
