Message #3 to Kyra
The third message you found was pinned to the body of farmer Hambley. It, too, was addressed to Kyra:
Your Lordship
Take the fever into you, my love -- it shall be the first of my gifts to you.

Message #2 to Kyra
The second message was spoken to you right before Grayst Sevilla attacked Kyra:
Grayst Sevilla
He said that if you came to his Misgivings, that if you joined his pack, he would end his harvest in your honor.

Message #1 to Kyra
The first message you found was pinned to the body of Banny Harker. It had Kyra's name written in blood on the outside of a folded parchment
Your Lordship
You will learn to love me, desire me in time as she did. Give yourself to the Pack and it shall all end.

Ruminations on Wix
Sarwixel doesn't quite roll off non-Elven tongues very well. What can I say... it's a family name. An ancient name.

I recall the early days of my "adventuring" life when I would state my name to a potential patron only to hear back Saravixel, Sorwixkill, Sarwinksell, Star Winkle and many more worse and better.

It bothered at me at first, of course. It's not that hard to say... repeat after me... SAR-WIX-EL. But it was to no avail. Even educated people would bungle the name.

Then one day I heeded the call to Moorshroud Castle. I was there only a few days when I was teamed with a young half-orc soldier to deliver a supply order.

Half-Orcs are a short-lived race. As such everything seems compressed to them. Sejko was certainly no different in this regard. He, like most everyone else had trouble pronouncing my name.

For the most part, our message delivery was uneventful. We hid when we needed to hide. We ran when we needed to run. We avoided encounters as much as possible. But when you're going through rough country, encounters have a way of finding you.

Sejko noticed something move in the forest as we made our way along the trail to Isenford. He yelled, "Wix, move!!!" Which I mistook for "Wicks move" as in the end of a candle. I recall screwing up my face as I looked at him and said, "Of course, wicks move. They're on fire. You would move too if you were on fire."

He was pointing viciously towards me and kept yelling... "No. Move. Wix. Move!!!" I turned just in time to see the tip of the dart before it buried itself in my arm. That's all I really remember.

My next memory is waking up in Isenford with a worried Sejko yelling, "Wix! You're awake! You're going to make it!"

Apparently the dart was poisoned. I had been paralyzed for an entire day. Sejko had also been hit by a dart, but it did not seem to affect him. He fought off the Kobolds that attacked him easily then carried me the rest of the way to Isenford.

At any rate, that was the birth of my nickname. Ever since then I introduce myself as Wix. No more Star Winkle for me.
