Game session 3.0
The crew decided to leave Devaron and head back to Onderon to meet Cal's independently-minded friends. The contact was a male Mon Calamari named Rekara. After an initial meeting at his place of business, the crew met up later with the rest of his team in a warehouse where they were searched well before any conversations began. After informing Rekara that Cal had been captured, it was decided that the crew should go to Tattooine to not only get Chak, but turn him over to Lady Valarian in hopes of getting some weapons for the cause.

It should also be noted that a squad of stormtroopers was going around Mos Eisley asking about a gruff-looking human they had a picture of.

On Tattooine, the crew met with Lady Valarian and arranged to have her people watch for Chak to locate him while the party would actually make the capture. Valarian wants Chak and Noocha. Any weapons he has will go to the crew. While waiting, they met with some jawas and helped to repair their sandcrawler in return for some parts that Stex was able to turn into a working landspeeder, a swoop bike, and a functional, but somewhat quirky, astromech droid.

Valarian's people found that Chak was leasing an old ship repair station a few kilometers out of town from Jabba and running his small operation from there. While observing the place, the crew saw the man the Empire was looking for get killed by Chak and his men.

The plan became for half the crew to approach in the Golden Opportunity while the other half comes in from the ground.

How will it all come together?!

Game session 2.5.1
The crew watches from a distance as Calligan, surrounded by stormtroopers, boards the landing shuttle. Susal seems unnerved by the situation, but is fully cooperative (probably a good idea on her part). Last to board the ship is an officer of some type wearing a grey Imperial uniform with chest armor and an open-faced helmet. As the ship takes off, Akaron watches it through a pair of macrobinoculars as seems that it is headed toward a star destroyer in orbit.

Once the coast is clear, the crew heads back to Susal's home. She explains:
"Everything happened quickly. I don't know how they knew he was here. The odd thing is that shortly before it happened, he warned me. He knew they were coming and he told me to go along with whatever they wanted. The man in grey introduced himself as Agent Raske of the ISB. They said very little other than that he was under arrest.
The last thing Cal told me before they got here was to tell you to NOT come after him. It's suicide, he said. He suggested you may want to change your identities somehow because he wasn't sure if he would be able to resist their interrogation. If he can't, you'll be in danger."

(Out of character: do you have any questions for Susal? Also, I need the party to decide if you are going to follow what Calligan said or ignore him and try to rescue him.)

Game Session 2 summary
Our heroes (joined by some other employees of Calligan's who had been off-planet when Chak framed him) meet with Cikatro Vizago, a Devaronian arms dealer who Calligan knew of and had dealings with before. He agreed to tell the crew where Chak was and have his slicer install a variable transponder in the Golden Opportunity if they would steal some information for him from the Bureau of Ships and Services on a ship called The Starry Night. The crew stole some Imperial uniforms from the Imperial Maintenance Depot and pulled a fairly successful scam, posing as medics doing an inspection the BoSS office. Just as they were preparing to leave, the officer in charge of the office caught on to the scam and was stunned. A real medical team arrived before the crew could clear out and a shootout with security ensured (two Imperial security guards were killed in the shootout). Still, the crew escaped with 15 new ID's for the ship (6 current, 9 old) and the information Vizago requested. His slicer installed the transponder, but as the crew was returning to pick up Calligan, they found an Imperial lander and a squad of stormtroopers arresting him.

(What happened?! Tune in next time to find out!)

Game session 1 summary
The party investigated the cargo hold of the Golden Opportunity and found some sand on the ship. A brief analysis showed it was consistent with soil from Tatooine. Recalling that Noocha had once worked on Tatooine for Lady Valarian (and the Blue Nova had recently been to Ryloth, very near Tatooine), Calligan and the crew began to get a picture of what may have happened.

Travelling to Tatooine in search of more information, the group made friends with the local Port Authority handler, a Sullustan named Lavoline. After collecting some well-overdue docking fees from an Aqualish with a gambling problem at Chalmun's cantina, he pointed the crew to where the Blue Nova had been docked. This led to a run-in with a local gang, the Alkhara bandits. The crew easily dispatched them, but three got away (could be problems later).

Finding little there, they return to the cantina. Nisa overhears a discussion about someone stealing some guns from Lady Valarian. Calligan decides it's time to talk to her and leads the crew to the Lucky Despot, a run-down cargo hauler that has been turned into a "luxury" hotel and casino and base of operations for Valarian. After a brief talk with a security guard (which Henry noticed involved a brief wave of the hand from Calligan), he was led off to speak with the crime boss. Meanwhile, Akaron had a pleasant game of sabacc with a Gotal named Gilshem, a professional gambler who could be a useful contact later.

Calligan negotiates a profitable arrangement involving the return of Noocha (alive) and even more so if the guns are returned as well. Deciding to send the Blue Nova's crew back to Tatooine on business (and alert Valarian to this), the crew of the Opportunity return to Onderon, but too late. Chak and crew are gone, and so are the guns (along with lots of bacta). Calligan remembered that Chak mentioned a contact on Devaron ready to buy the guns and decided that was the next destination. While prepping to leave, an Imperial shuttle landed on the grounds. About 20 stormtroopers and an Imperial Security Bureau agent disembark and chase the crew, but our heroes manage to escape (after setting the place to burn). The crew and the ship are now wanted by the Empire.

Continuing on to Devaron (after a brief zig-zag), Calligan meets with an old contact of his named Susal, a local government representative. She says she will help locate the Blue Nova, but it will likely be costly to her.

Thus ends the first session of Star Wars: Outlaws! Tune in next time!

Game intro 1.1 - Where did THESE come from?
(You will find a thread in the forum where your characters can respond.)
The crew recently returned to Onderon after a trip to Thyferra to pick up some crates for Calligan. A few hours after unloading them, Calligan calls your crew and the crew of The Blue Nova (his other employees) to the warehouse office. The Nova's crea includes Chak, a male Twi'lek who is the leader of the crew, the female Rodian pilot Noocha, a male human merc named Jastan, a female human named Ronna, and a shifty Aqualish crewman who goes by Fando.
"There seems to be a problem with this shipment. After it was unloaded, I checked it and found a couple of crates that were, shall we say, out of order." He leads the group to the storage area and walks over to a pair of crates. "According to the manifest, these crates are holding Thyferran nerf cheese. Of course, we all know the manifest is a load of poodoo. They SHOULD be holding tanks of diverted bacta which is worth a lot of money when you can sneak it out from under the Bacta Cartel's nose. However, we don't know what's in these two yet, because the listed access codes don't work. Anyone know why?"
Both crews look around at each other in bewilderment, seemingly having no idea.
"Well, lets see if we can't get them open and find out." Cal pulls out an electronic code breaker and sets to decoding the lock. After a few seconds, the lock opens and Cal opens the crate to reveal that it is full of Blastech A295 repeating blaster rifles and the other crate is loaded with Merr-Sonn Power 5 blaster pistols.
Cal turns to the group, fury in his eyes, but his demeanor remains calm. "Safe to say, THESE were not part of the order." Cal turns to the crew of the Golden Opportunity, "It's a good thing you weren't stopped by Imperial customs or I'd be in a cell by now. Any idea how these got here?"
